Question: What is the meaning of the error message: “0x800F0004 / license expired”?

Answer:

Message: License expired

Solution: This message comes in 3 situations:

a.) With temporally limited test licenses with a firm expiration date. Request by E-Mail (info@publicshareware.com ) a new test license without 4 hours of limits or purchase valid license in our Shop or by one of our central partners

b.) You tried uninstalling and installing the latest available kit or the complete software, but now you cannot connect to the server?

Please insert your license number on the Public ShareFolder Server again under "settings" and restart the Public ShareFolder Server. Be sure that all Outlooks on the connected clients be shut down if you restart the server. The license will accept only after a restart of the Public ShareFolder (PSF) Server.

c.) Check your time settings. If the time difference is larger then 1 minute, please synchronise the time settings of all network computers.
